According to BBC News, Lil Wayne was gunned down by the Crips gang after a show in New Orleans Sunday Morning. The multi-platinum rapper and CEO of Cash Money Records was regarded as the “best rapper alive” by many in the hip hop community including rap mogul Jay-Z.
