Look at Souljah Boy, didn't he leak like almost all his music and when he made an album it went platinum I believe, and the biggest example and correct me if I'm wrong, Lil Wayne (love that guy), doesn't he leak his music as well and still goes plantinum. In reality, if someone downloads a song from another blog like DDotOmen.com (not here) and becomes a fan, even if he doesn't purchase the album, he may attend a show or purchase merchandise at a later date. A concert ticket is a larger sale than a friggin $10 album. On another note, you now have a fan for life for virtually no cost to the artist or label. Multiply this example across the internet and it can be very powerful and effective. These old dinosaurs that fail to adapt will soon be extinct. hahahahah good post DDotOmen.
