The 2011 @Coachella festival took place this weekend in Indio CA with the best artists in music showing up. First of all, I think that anytime Lauryn Hill performs anywhere these days, it’s like seeing a solar eclipse. The R&B legend performed a few throwback joints and even some songs I hadn’t even heard before. Afterward, artists like Kanye West, Nas & Damian Marley and Wiz Khalifa put on some great sets as well.

Oh word? Jill Scott killed it in her new video for Shame. I’m always used to her doin some real, soulful music but this is the first time I’ve seen her on a true hip hop tip.

With Black Thought and Meek Mill opening up with a quick cipher, Jill Scott and Eve team up for a nice performance. Shame is featured on her upcoming album Light Off The Sun which will be released in June.

@BrunoMars busts out with some randomassshit in his new video lol. The Lazy Song comes straight off his latest album Doo-Wops & Hooligans which is out now.

Its an exciting time for @50Cent. The premiere for his upcoming movie Things Fall Apart was held in NYC earlier this week. This was the movie where he lost 54 lbs in order to fit his character of a prominent high school football player who later on finds out he has cancer.

At the premiere, many big names came out including Yo Gotti, Floyd Mayweather and even DJ Pauly D. Details for the Things Fall Apart release date are coming soon.

Damn this is a real track right here. @VolitheEntity brings us Fade Away which is about two colleges friends that take things to a whole other level without realizing the consequences. I like the fact the beat incorporated the piano and other instruments. It makes the song more real.
