@RealSway responded to @KanyeWest’s rant last night about MTV’s Hottest MC In The Game list. He also plans on bringing the TV to MTV’s RapFix Live later on today.
“We made a master list, then we started debating.” Said Sway. “Not everbody on the table agreed with every number of artist. Whether you average it out or you do the voting. This is where it comes. This is our list. That’s why it’s only people of MTV.
“… There’s a lot about this story that Kanye West did not reveal. I’m gonna talk about the story of my first TV courtesy of Kanye West.”

@KanyeWest finally broke his no-press rule and called in to DJ Enuff at Hot 97. Kanye West spoke on his No 7 position on MTV’s Hottest MC In The Game list as well as Big Sean’s No 6 position. He also goes onto say that Lil Wayne is the best rapper alive and disses the homie Sway.

@KanyeWest gets a slip to the bottom, but at least he made the top 10. The MTV brain trust has decided and this year’s No 7 hottest MC in the game is Kanye West. What more is there to say about the Chi-Town rapper?
Yeezy’s 2012 was full of international tours and G.O.O.D Music success. Cruel Summer brought together his whole label for a compilation of great tracks. But, the brain trust argued that he wasn’t necessarily the star of that album. Also, his media dominance with future baby-mama Kim Kardashian didn’t add to his success as an MC. With his first time out of the top 5, could this be the beginning of the decline of Kanye West? We’ll see what comes of it.
